THE SICILIAN TENORS
The Sicilian Tenors bring together three marvelous Tenor voices, each singing their own interpretation of the world’s best music in a recital that is easy for you to stage and wonderful for your audience to experience. Accompanied by a grand piano, the show works perfectly and is a breeze to stage for subscription series venues. The Sicilian Tenors take the audience on a romantic journey from Hollywood to Broadway to Italy with operatic tenor voices singing a wide variety of marvelous songs that America loves. Combined with light-hearted fun, this is a concert for all ages and musical tastes.
MONIQUE MCCALL
Monique McCall began her recording career while selling thousands of CD’s during her being recruited by Costa Cruise Lines to sell out audiences nightly. This smashing success led to Grammy-award winning producers Rudy Perez and Joel Numa bringing to life her second, multilingual effort. Her expansive range, stunning stage presence, and dynamic showmanship are a few of the reasons audiences are left wanting more. A former Ms. Connecticut whom Bacardi signed as their featured recording artist and Bombay Sapphire Princess are not alone in seeing Monique’s value. Monique has performed for esteemed audiences worldwide.
DON SOLEDAD
Raised in a musical family, Don took an interest in the guitar at a young age. After being exposed to recordings of great flamenco guitarists Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo,Tomatito and Gerardo Núñez, he found where his heart truly belonged — the Spanish flamenco guitar. Don also has done session work for numerous artists in multiple genres including an album by singer/songwriter Eric Martin, vocalist of the rock band Mr. Big. He is currently based in Florida and performs with his quartet Don Soledad Group.
FRANK DERRICK OCHESTRA
This is Florida's Number One Big Band Orchestra that showcases it's exciting straight ahead jazz. Among those with whom Frank Derrick has worked as a drummer, conductor or composer are The Duke Ellington and Woody Herman orchestras, Arvell Shaw's Louis Armstrong Legacy Band, Benny Carter, Steve Allen, Eubie Blake, Dorothy Donegan and Ken Peplowski. He was the drummer in the early years of The David Letterman Show on NBC and was Cab Calloway's drummer for a decade.
Heléne Lundström
She was born and raised in Malmö, Sweden and studied musical theatre at Ballett Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden. For Disney: Helene was the voice of Pocahontas in the Swedish cast, as well as in Pocahontas II - "Journey to a New World". She also worked on the Little Mermaid and The Lion King. Heléne was working tirelessly with Disney while also playing for sold out houses as the lead in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" winning the Jullan Kindahl award for her work.
SHA ZHANG ENSEMBLE
Sha Zhang is a graceful and gifted artist with many accolades to her name including being the featured violinist on the hit recording "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion from the movie Titanic. The Sha Zhang ensemble is ideal for ceremonies, weddings and events that require a touch of elegance. Sha, a south Florida resident, formerly performed with Celine Dion as her first chair violinist and she continues to tour with top orchestras from around the world
GREG HANSEN
Greg Hansen guitarist and vocalist performs the best of John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson and many more. Coming from a jam-band background, his styles range from rock to reggae, jazz to hip-hop, blues to bluegrass and everything in between. Hansen’s shows are anything but ordinary. As a solo act, Hansen utilizes loop pedals, sample pads and various instruments to create backing tracks live and on the fly. Once the track is built, he transcends the norm again with warm charcoal vocals and shredding guitar solos.
