Bill Porter - Founder/President

Musician, promoter and producer for over 45 years; Bill’s music career began in the 1970’s in Minnesota where his love for music became his passion. As a drummer and performer Bill shared the stage with superstar celebrities such as Sammy Davis Jr., Jerry Lewis, Captain and Tennille, Ray Stevens and many more. He has performed everywhere from Minneapolis Jazz clubs to Cobo Hall Detroit, Toronto Exhibition and Harrah’s Lake Tahoe.

Bill spent more than 25 years as a senior operating executive in the corporate arena providing him with the business acumen to create Bill Porter Music. In 2001, with the perfect blend of business and music, Bill Porter Music was launched. Today the company boasts over 1,200 bookings and shows annually with a worldwide roster of talent to offer their esteemed clients.

 

The father of two daughters and grandfather of five, all reside in South Florida.

Rob Surace – Senior Event Producer / Vice President of Operations

Originally from New York/New Jersey, Rob has been performing professionally since his youth. Rob has 25+ years as writer producer and studio executive for many emerging artists with credit for producing and performing at 5,000+ successful events.

Robs early career as band leader of “Nouveau Riche” the #1 dance band in the NY Tri-State area followed by a position as Musical Director for the Jason Craig Orchestra, New York/New Jersey’s #1 premier entertainment company. Then, most recently, GOLD RUSH Musical Director, piano, keyboardist, lead male vocalist and emcee. Rob is currently serving as the esteemed Musical Director for "Christ Fellowship", one of the top 5 non-denominational churches in the US, and Bill Porter Music as Senior Event Producer and Vice President of Operations. Oversight for: Event production and entertainment procurement.
